Description: Instituted in 1952 ; incorporated eight aeronautics departments from 8 separate higher education schools. A technical "national key school" under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Name change in 2002. "National key schools" generally have the most prestige, the best students and the most government funding. Usual admission requirements are completion of senior secondary school (12 years of education) and a national entrance examination.
