Minimum level for UW-Madison Graduate School admission: 4 year bachelor's degree; or 5 year integrated master's degree; or master's degree following completion of 3 year bachelor's degree; or completion of a bachelor degree followed by certain postgraduate diplomas which are either AIU (Association of Indian Universities) or AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved; postgrad diplomas are all evaluated individually.

Description: Instituted in 1969, a teaching and residential university with 7 schools and a Biotechnology centre. Primarily a graduate school although it does offer bachelor degrees with the usual admission requirement of a senior school certificate (12 years of education). Considered to be a very good school with competitive admission. In the School of Languages applicants can be admitted to a five-year integrated MA program; the other schools require at least a bachelor's degree for admission.
